Hey.
Bad news for y'all.
Notice the class tee? Realize that next to the "verum" on the front, there is a "1." It is not supposed to be there. Ha ha. And see the repeated two words? One of them, I can't remember which one. But anyway, the front of the T-shirt is actually quite messed up. But it's still good, it's still good...
Anyway, here's some nice books recommended for y'all...
1) What Mr. Mattero Did
It's a book about sexual abuse and how it changes everyone's lives around them. You can check out the review I did on it on my blog www.where-magic-dances.blogspot.com
But anyway, it's a pretty good book.
2) Teen Inc.
It's about how this boy was adopted by this company because his parents were killed by a faulty device the company created. Which means he was raised entirely in this company, his education, his fashion sense, even his dating style is controlled by the company. But then he discovers the truth about what the company is doing to harm the environment in return for money, and tries to defy his "parents" by lurching against them. Pretty cool book.
3) Firmament.
If you like words and music, go for it.
4) TRUANCY
OMG YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GO READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know what I mean.
It's basically sci-fi, and touches greatly on pacism, totalitarianism(it's actually the main focus of the entire plot), a furious raging war between children and the adults of the society. It leaves a great impact on ya. Though the ultimate subservient-to-the-government school system is non existant, (not allowed to eat and talk in school, children are severely punished for things that aren't proved, treated like prisoners, beasts.) it totally makes you feel how great St. Nicks is. Or actually, all the schools in the world are. Go read it.
