Hello...
Thanks to Ms. Cheong, I now have an alias for myself:
ELBIE. Doesn't it sound cute? :D
I'm sure you're all dying to hear about the grotesque, non-existent, revolting spelling list. It's too noisy in class today so most of you probably didn't catch what Vivian said, and I doubted you will anyway. That's the Truthian spirit!
Prepare to be amazed, shocked and knocked-out:
Spelling Test of 20 words will be conducted next week, Thursday.(Oops, I forgot, sorry, it's not Wednesday, it's Thursday according to the paper, but Miss. Cheong said it was on Wednesday. ????) But anyway, it's on Thursday, 24/7.
Unlike previous spelling tests, we
will not have a spelling list this time. Instead, words will be
randomly taken from texts and sources.
The following are the sources for our words:
-The Tiger-Mereana (Going for the Bread)-Genres of Narratives(it's the notes, not a passage)-Search for Freedom-Varying sentences(notes again, the one Miss. Cheong gave us for summary.)-The Crossing(The one I gave out today.)-Voula(The greek-australian girl)-IN newspaper 23/6 and 14/7Erm many of us have thrown away our IN or lost them right? Same here with me, I'm completely IN-less. So for those who have the editions, read them thoroughly and jot down words you don't think you can spell with confidence and then erm...kinda lend it to the rest of us? Yup.
Thanks!
